It was so GREAT to be back in the HIT Fitness gym tonight and be back with my peeps! Even if I did get cursed out on more than one occasion for my motivation techniques, but hey, it worked didn't it?!?! LOVED IT! Broke in another newbie tonight, too. He only vomited 3 times while completing Fran, but at least he finished the workout! Great job by Sara for setting a new PR and completing Fran as rx'ed! I told you that you could do it and you did! Jeff did his 1st Fran in style, Andrea did it even though she didn't want to and the brother Hubbards beat Elizabeth up with no mercy with Jason and Katie! Sean and Shane braved the HITWOD with me. I love lifting heavy, heavy, heavy!
Bootcamp resumes tomorrow and I'm feeling like some really unorthodox methods are in order. Hope you are ready for a fun filled workout, ladies. I guarantee you've NEVER seen a workout like this before! Katie will be out tomorrow so it will just be Mark and I. Bring your water bottle and a towel, lets burn some calories. Remember, the gym is available for cardio any time during the week and I invite everyone to try out a CrossFit class! Come, drink the kool-aid!
Katie and I are headed to Atlanta this weekend for our Level 1 CrossFit Trainer Certification so I will not be there at the gym Friday night, Saturday AM or Sunday afternoon. As always, the gym will be open, so don't be afraid to come on in!

Total Weight Movement
Men must move 7200 pounds, Women 5400 pounds
Pick any exercise you want to. Multiply the number of reps by the weight you choose to get your total weight moved. But there's a catch: every time you rack the weight, you owe 10 burpees. For example, if I choose back squat at 225#, I would have to do it 32 times to equal 7200 pounds. If Lok-yi choose bench press at 100 pounds, she'd have to do it 54 times to hit 5400 pounds. Get it? Good, now go get some!
